My guest is Harry Robinson, author of The Men Who Made Manchester United: The Untold Story. We look at how a railway worker side from the suburbs of Manchester rose to become one of the most supported and successful football clubs in the world.

It is fascinating to think that on more than one occasion, Manchester United came close to going out of business. Harry talks us through some of the key figures who helped build Newton Heath – its original name – and Manchester United, and some of the people who saved it.

This is a fascinating listen, even if you don’t support or even like Manchester United very much.
