Our guest is James Brown from the Society for American Soccer History (SASH). James’s grandfather, Jim Brown, played for the US team in its historic run to the semi-finals of the Uruguay 1930 World Cup, scoring the US’s only goal in a 6-1 defeat to Argentina.
James outlines the experience of the team in what was a golden era for US soccer and outlines his connection with other descendants.
