Podcast: The History of the European Cup

I welcome Steven Scragg back onto the podcast for a third time to discuss his new book, The Undisputed Champions of Europe. Following the success of his books in the European Cup-Winners’ Cup and the UEFA Cup, Scragg now completes the hat-trick with his new release on the European Cup.

We look at the tournament’s origins and precursors, its leading characters, how power has ebbed and flowed between Southern and Northern Europe, and some of the tournaments most enduring stories.

DISCLOSURE: Both Steven and I have the same publisher, Pitch Publishing.

We release a new podcast every Monday, so be sure to subscribe on your preferred podcast platform. We’re on AppleSpotifyStitcherPlayer.FM and Anchor. Look for us in Google Podcasts too. We’d really appreciate a rating or view if you like what we’re doing as it helps others discover our podcast.
