Podcast: The Future of Safe Standing

Research shows that 15% of football fans would like to stand at football matches in the top flight of English football. Rail seating – or safe standing – has been introduced successfully in Scotland at Celtic and at many grounds in Germany.

The debate to trial safe standing in England, Wales and beyond is growing, and in this podcast, we discuss the future of safe standing with football writer Matthew Crist, who has been covering this topic for various football sites.
