Podcast: Reflections on Upton Park, West Ham

West Ham’s Boleyn Ground, Upton Park. The club moved to the Olympic Stadium for the 2016-17 season.

My guest is Danny Lewis, author of Boleyn’s Farewell: West Ham United’s Upton Park Swansong, which chronicles the last game at West Ham’s former home of 112 years. We look at the history of West Ham United, from its roots as the dockers’ team to its move to Upton Park and – ultimately – the club’s move to the London Stadium.

I release a new podcast every Monday – although will be taking a break June – Sept 2021 – so be sure to subscribe on your preferred podcast platform. You can find it on AppleSpotifyStitcherPlayer.FM and Anchor. Look for the pod in Google Podcasts too. I’d really appreciate a rating or view if you like what we’re doing as it helps others discover our podcast.
