Podcast: Portugal’s Golden Generation and the Copa del Rey

Please share:

There’s a new book out on 5 October 2020 called Iberia Chronicles: A Brief History of Spanish and Portuguese Football. The book features contributions from 20 writers. We couldn’t interview them all, so we picked a topic from either country:

  • Portugal’s ‘Golden Generation’: Nathan Motz gives us the background to – and legacy of – the great Portuguese Seleção national side of the 1990s and early 2000s
  • La Copa del Rey: Kristofer McCormack explores the history of Spain’s Copa del Rey (King’s Cup), the country’s oldest football competition

We release a new podcast every Monday, so be sure to subscribe on your preferred podcast platform. We’re on AppleSpotifyStitcherPlayer.FM and Anchor. Look for us in Google Podcasts too. We’d really appreciate a rating or view if you like what we’re doing as it helps others discover our podcast.
