Podcast: Interview with Author Tim Hartley / Groundhopping in Wales

Cardiff City fans [Photo: Tim Hartley]

I welcome Tim Hartley back onto the podcast to discuss his new book, The World At Your Feet: In Search of the Soul of Football. We discuss some of his more extreme groundhopping experiences, plus his thoughts on modern football, Team GB (football), and more. In the second half of the interview, Tim shares his groundhopping tips for visitors to his native Wales, and we discover some fantastic gems, especially lower down the league structure.

If you’re interested in the roots of football in Wales – and elsewhere – check out my book Origin Stories: The Pioneers Who Took Football to the World.

Disclaimer: Tim and I share a publisher in Pitch Publishing
