Our guest is Daniel Williamson to discuss his book, Blue and Gold Passion: A History of Boca Juniors. We discuss Boca’s entire history from the foundation of the club in Buenos Aires’ port district, through to its European tour in the 1920s, and its various peaks and troughs.
Naturally, we cover its icons – Maradona, Riquelme and more – and the evolution of its rivalry with River Plate. We also discuss its future, with Riquelme on the board to take the club forward.
