Earlier this year I became aware of Lewes FC’s fan ownership model, snapped up an ownership share myself and interviewed the club about the structure. I popped down to see The Rooks take on Tonbridge Angels in the Ryman Premier League to see for myself what the impact of the fan ownership model has been so far and hear the club’s plans for the future. It was a chilly autumn night on the South Downs, with a decent crowd of 460 witnessing a scrappy 1-0 home defeat. I caught up with Lewes FC’s Commercial Manager, Kevin Miller, in one of the club’s iconic beach huts.
